about us: philosophy

We’re conscious that replacing your windows or doors is a big deal. Windows and doors are a significant investment. Opening up your house to installers can be intrusive. You should consider your options carefully and feel comfortable with the people who are doing the work for you. We’re not going to pressure you to make a decision today. We want you to be happy with your decision. We treat your decision-making process with the seriousness it deserves. And we strive to make sure you’re informed about what you’re getting and what you can expect.

We provide unique solutions for individual concerns. We view every window or door opening as having its own individual solution. We’ll work with you to understand your unique needs. We’ll seek alternatives to meet your needs and your budget.

We view the people we work with as clients and friends for life, not one-time sales. We’re committed to improving the community we live in and preserving the historical architecture of Longmont and Boulder County. We expect that you would know where to find us in a few years if something went wrong because we took a shortcut. This means that we don’t take them, and we collaborate with you to solve problems instead. And because we install what we sell, there’s never any finger-pointing if you have issues with your windows. We won’t tell you it’s the manufacturer’s problem or the installer’s problem; we’ll just take care of it.

What Clients Have Said

Tom knew I needed my replacement windows to be affordable. He made sure I knew about all the options that met my budget. I never felt any pressure while I took the time I needed to make up my mind. The windows I ended up with blend in nicely with the outside of my home, and I’ve saved a lot of money on my heating bills this winter. I’m thrilled that I finally replaced them. Tom was a big help finding the right ones.

The design of our new custom house called for wood windows with a very traditional look. We were very particular about the quality of the windows as well, having experienced ill-fitting windows of shabby quality in every otherwise nice home we had lived in before. Windows always seemed an afterthought to the builders, yet they were such an important part of living in the home. Tom found beautiful windows that look like they were made just for our home. They're energy-efficient, they function perfectly, and they're as solidly built as the rest of the house.
